While the show has been off the air, we haven’t stopped thinking about who could be hidden inside these costumes. Keep reading for “The Masked Singer” spoilers, including out best guess as to the real identity of the Leopard.

Justin Bieber might be a singer-songwriter and fashion mogul, but he's not losing sleep over a particular Instagram "like." The Drew House founder took to the 'gram to low-key gush over his wife, Hailey Baldwin. During his social media spree, he shared a series of candid snaps of the 22-year-old beauty. It was typical, modern-day affection. You know, the ushe. However, it didn't take long for fans to spot an interesting "like" from Baldwin's (kind of) former flame, Shawn Mendes. The "Stitches" singer double tapped one of Bieber's photos of Baldwin, resulting in an Instagram firestorm. Naturally, fan accounts of the famous couple caught...

Before Teddy Geiger was one of pop’s most in-demand songwriters and producers, she was a kid in western New York state who wore a pendant embossed with the Virgin Mary. She was raised Catholic, and Mary statuettes populated her childhood home. In her twenties, during a time of personal upheaval, she started seeing Mary everywhere — a guide appearing to let her know, maybe, that she was headed in the right direction. “It was some weird, superstitious feeling,” says Geiger, 30. “I’d see her and I’d really feel it:...

Shawn Mendes was up late in his hotel room a few nights ago, scrolling through photos online. He kept seeing Top 40 A-listers with their partners — maybe it was Dua Lipa and her boyfriend, or Justin Bieber and his model-fiancée — and he was starting to get a little jealous. “I had this thought: ‘I have to get paparazzied with someone. Who am I gonna get? I’m not relevant,’ ” Mendes recalls. But he gave up on the idea just as quickly. “I was like, ‘Ugh, you fucking idiot. Why did you think that?...

Not many artists get to experience as many pop lives as Teddy Geiger. She was a teen idol by 16, with a mushy soft-rock hit, “For You I Will (Confidence),” on her hands. At 19, she starred as the romantic lead opposite future Oscar winner Emma Stone in the comedy The Rocker. After an early retirement at 21, she took a few steps back out of the spotlight and began writing songs for and with other artists, most famously becoming one of the names behind Shawn Mendes’ biggest hits (“Stitches,” “Treat You Better”).

Shawn Mendes might have a future in the country music world! The heartthrob got a taste of the country life when he met the Zac Brown Band in Toronto not that long ago. Shawn had little idea of what awaited him when he arrived at the show and was told that the lead singer wanted to talk to him. "I went up to the bus and opened the door and all I could hear was a four part harmony, six guitars and people doing this and Zach singing his heart out," Shawn shared. And the "Stitches" singer was pleasantly surprised when the one of the band members handed him a guitar to join in on what he described as a "full out concert jam mode." He said, "I've never seen anything like...

Freddie Mercury, is that you?! On Oct. 12, Shawn Mendes released a new cover of "Under Pressure" by Queen. The song is a joint effort with Teddy Geiger, who has collaborated with Mendes on a ton of his songs, including "Stitches," "There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back," "Lost in Japan," and "In My Blood." The cover is sensational, featuring vocals from both artists (can we talk about that falsetto?!), but the best part is that it's meant to benefit a good cause: the Mercury Phoenix Trust, which aims to fight against HIV and AIDS. What a perfect way to commemorate the incredible life and career of Freddie Mercury. Check out the song ahead.

Shawn Mendes opened the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards by performing his single “In My Blood,” and though he didn’t win any Moonmen for the song’s accompanying video he’s probably the front-runner for the wet T-shirt contest. Watch his performance above, and let us know what you thought of him in the comments at the bottom of this post. And make sure to check out the complete list of Vma winners right here.
Mendes had three nominations at these awards: Best Pop Video, Best Direction and Best Cinematography, all for “In My Blood.” These follow a pair of bids he received in 2017: Best Pop Video for “Treat You Better” and Song of the Summer for “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back.” But he lost both of those bids too, so he’s now zero-for-five. But the 20-year-old singer-songwriter has plenty of time. As Video Vanguard Award winner...

Shawn Mendes is breaking his silence on Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber's recent engagement. The 19-year-old "Stitches" singer was romantically linked to the 21-year-old model as recently as May, but the duo always maintained that they're just friends. In June, Baldwin went on to reunite with Bieber, who proposed to her weeks later while on vacation in the Bahamas. Now, Mendes is opening up about the couple's engagement and shutting down any rumors of a feud in a new interview with The Project. When asked to choose his "favorite Justin," between Bieber and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Mendes picked Trudeau. But that doesn't mean there's any bad blood between the...

Since Shawn Mendes emerged in 2014 as one of the first-ever “Vine stars” (it’s hard to believe how quaint a term involving defunct social-media app can sound), he’s evolved with a self-assurance that belies his youth, his indisputable cuteness and the seemingly inevitable fizz that would come with such an arrival.
He’s deftly avoided many of the pitfalls of both novelty status and teen stardom — partially because, unlike many teen stars, he didn’t arrive on the coattails of a television show or film that diluted his identity — and, thanks to a live show strong enough to sell out Madison Square Garden and well-crafted pop songs like the punctuationally inconsistent “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back” and his biggest hit “Stitches,” he’s developed an impressively sturdy career and a fanatical following, albeit one mostly consisting of teenaged girls.

Dick Clark Productions and NBC announced two more performers who will take the stage at this weekend’s Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night, May 20. Shawn Mendes and Khalid will duet on the world television premiere of their collaboration, “Youth,” following Mendes’s solo performance of his current song “In My Blood.” Are you excited to see them take the stage?
In addition to performing at the Billboard Awards, Khalid has five nominations at the event: Top New Artist, Top R&B Artist, Top R&B Male Artist, Top R&B Song and Top R&B Album (“American Teen”). He should be considered a strong contender for the New Artist prize since he ranked second on Billboard’s list of the top new artists of 2017, but Cardi B and Camila Cabello are the artists to beat in that race according to the combined predictions of hundreds of Gold Derby users.

Dark Sky Films is set to release Dennis Bartok’s directorial debut, Nails, today on VOD, which features The Descent’s Shauna Macdonald doing battle with an evil entity that is stalking her in the hospital after she’s been laid up following a horrific accident that leaves her trapped in her own bed, unable to communicate with the outside world. Daily Dead recently spoke to Bartok about the project, and he discussed how his own experiences inspired the story of Nails, what it was like to collaborate with Macdonald, and more.
